HC Deb 10 November 1920 vol 134 c1172
Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

On a point of Order, Sir, may I not put Question No 43? I have only been called upon twice. I gave notice of a question for the 17th, which appears by mistake on the Paper to-day as No. 16, which you did not call. This, therefore, is only my third question?

Mr. SPEAKER

It is the fourth standing on the Paper. If I once started making inquiries into the genesis of questions, and their character, history, and so forth, I am afraid I should get into endless inquiries. I must take the settled rule of the number standing on the Paper.
