Mr. CHAMBERLAINIt would, I think, be premature at this date to express any opinion upon the revenue to be derived in the current financial year from the duties on imported cigars. My hon. Friend will find figures relating to the quantities and values of cigars imported and to the quantities cleared for home consumption in the monthly accounts of trade and navigation published as a Parliamentary paper.
