HC Deb 03 November 1920 vol 134 cc374-5
Mr. RAPER

asked the Minister of Health if the Government take into account the pensions granted to widows in respect of the death of their sons through War service when considering the assessment of old age pensions; and, if so, will he, for the future, discontinue this practice, which constitutes a hardship to a certain number of poor old women?

Dr. ADDISON

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply I gave to a similar question by the hon. Member for South Ayrshire on the 11th August last, copy of which I am sending him.
