§ 93. Viscountess ASTORasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if there is any prospect of speeding up the actual payment of the increased pre-War pensions to those now entitled to receive them?
§ Sir J. CRAIGLess than 25 per cent. of the applications received have not been finally dealt with, and of these a considerable proportion consists of cases in which old age and other pensions are involved, necessitating inquiry of other public Departments. Every effort is being made to speed up these payments.
