The Lords held a Conference with the Commons on the subject of the Amendments made by the Lords in the Punishment of Death Bill. The Commons objected to those Amendments, that they were too important to be introduced into this Bill, and ought to be made a separate measure. As it was of importance that the Bill should pass this Session, the Commons requested their Lordships to suffer the Bill to pass as it was sent up to them. Subject to be considered.
