HL Deb 02 November 2004 vol 666 cc25-6WA
Lord Moynihan

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, and if so when, they intend to take steps to address any conflict of interest faced by the Reform Chair of UK Sport continuing to be the chief executive of the Youth Sport Trust. [HL4407]

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Culture, Media and Sport (Lord McIntosh of Haringey)

I refer the noble Lord to the answer given to him on 4 March 2004 (Official Report, col. WA 114) by my noble friend the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department for Education and Skills (Baroness Ashton of Upholland). The Government agree that no potential conflict of interest exists.
