§ Ms HewittThe Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has no buildings which currently require remedial work or removal of asbestos. There is no specific budget for asbestos surveys or any resulting remedial work and such costs are included as part of the normal operating costs associated with the DTI estate. For those agencies where the Department holds budgetary information, the position is similar.
