§ Ms HewittHMG's policy is not to encourage UK companies to trade or invest in Burma in view of the current political and human rights situation there. HMG does not have access to comprehensive information kept by UK banks in their overseas dealings. However we are not aware of any UK bank offering banking services in Burma.
