§ Ms HewittThe Higher Education Business Interaction Survey shows that there were 220 spinouts in total from universities in England between August 1994 and July 1999, and 139 between August 1999 and July 2000.
Individual institutions responded to the survey on a confidential basis, so I am not able to supply breakdowns by county.
