§ Dr. ReidProtection for wildlife was devolved on 1 July and is now a matter for the Scottish Parliament. The only reserved aspect of protection for wildlife is the protection and regulation of the import and export of animals and plants (under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species—CITES).
