§ Mr. MilburnWe have made clear our commitment to holding an inquiry into the paediatric cardiac surgery services at the United Bristol Healthcare National Health Service Trust prior to 1996. The exact form, timing and scope of the inquiry and the membership of the inquiry team are currently under consideration. A final decision will be announced after the General Medical Council have completed their proceedings later this month.
