asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many Directors of (a) public limited companies and (b) private limited companies have been disqualified under the provisions of the Companies Acts in each of the past five years and whether they will list the numbers falling under each of the categories of grounds for disqualification.

During the last five years no individual has been disqualified from acting as a director under the provisions of the Companies Act 1985. The number of individuals disqualified from acting as a company director under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986 during the last five years are as follows:
