Further to the Answer given by Lord Inglewood on 4th July (WA 116), what organisation and persons to date have objected to the Sports Council's omission of angling from the list of activities that will receive the Council's enhanced service.
§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of National Heritage (Lord Inglewood)The Sports Council advises that it has received 50 representations about the omission of angling from its list of those activities which will receive an enhanced service. These are listed in the table below. The council is continuing to discuss with the angling governing bodies the level of service which it provides to the sport.
