To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what plans he has to visit Merseyside during the 50th anniversary of the battle of the Atlantic and the western approaches; and if he will make a statement.

My right hon. and learned Friend plans to visit Merseyside at the end of the month to attend events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the battle of the Atlantic.
