§ The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Lord Strathclyde)My honourable friend the Minister for the Environment and Countryside has today issued a management statement to the Countryside Commission, setting out the commission's role and responsibilities and the framework for its relationship with the department. A copy of the statement will be placed in the Library of the House.
