§ Mr. GoodladA number of countries in the Asia Pacific region are in the process of modernising their armed forces. As yet there is no significant increase in their power projection capabilities. Despite prospects for improved stability in Indo-China, potential troublespots remain in the Asia Pacific, not least North Korea.
