To ask the Secretary of State for Education what have been the total numbers of A-level entrants in(a) physics, (b) chemistry, (c). biology, (d) mathematics and (e) other or combined sciences in each year since 1988; and what was the total number of entrants to those subjects each year as a percentage of A-level entrants in all subjects.
