§ Mr. HanleyThe Royal Air Force plans to maintain numbers of fast-jet aircrew in each role, at the levels necessary to meet commitments. The size of the RAF's front-line units in 1988 was set out in annex C to the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1988 (Cm 344–1) and the current position is shown at annex D to the Statement on the Defence Estimates 1993 (Cm 2270).
