§ Mr. EggarIn the first instance, these are matters for British Nuclear Fuels plc and its customers in line with the contracts between them. These arrangements are supported by the existing intergovernmental letters between the United Kingdom and Japan. Since 1976, BNFL's contracts for the reprocessing of overseas spent fuel have contained options for the return of wastes. The Government intend that these options will be exercised and wastes returned.
