§ Dr. MawhinneyThe report of Sir Michael Thompson's committee is being published today. Copies are available in the Library. This review, which I announced in March, provides independent advice to Ministers. I thank Sir Michael and his review advisory committee for their findings which will be valuable in considering the future funding for the special health authorities. The findings will also be taken into account in considering the specialty reviews, the site option appraisals and other work currently in hand on the future of health care provision in London.
