HL Deb 02 February 1993 vol 542 c12WA
Lord Aldington

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will place in the Library a copy of the British Rail market research report to which the Earl of Caithness referred on 21st January (H.L. Deb. cols. 965 and 966), and which is said to justify the proposition that the abandonment of smoking compartments will increase the number of passengers on British Rail's Network SouthEast trains.

The Minister of State, Department of Transport (The Earl of Caithness)

We have asked for this report to be placed in the Library as soon as possible.
