HL Deb 01 February 1993 vol 542 cc5-6WA
Lord Kennet

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether details of the chemical weapons left in China after the Second World War by the former Japanese imperial army will be supplied to the new chemical warfare equivalent of the International Atomic Energy Authority.

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey

Each state party to the chemical weapons convention will be required to declare whether it has abandoned chemical weapons on the territory of other states and, if so, to provide all available relevant information to the secretariat of the future organisation for the prohibition of chemical weapons.
