§ Mr. Peter LloydThe voluntary repatriation scheme established under section 29 of the Immigration Act 1971 is operated by the International Social Service of the United Kingdom (ISS) on behalf of the Home Office. In the quarter 1 September to 30 November 1993 a total of 103 inquiries about voluntary repatriation were received by ISS; 43 such inquiries were received in the same quarter last year.
