HL Deb 22 April 1993 vol 544 c111WA
The Earl of Shrewsbury

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have received the Coopers & Lybrand report regarding the future status of the Crown Agents; whether that report has been made available to Parliament and the public; and what consultation has been entered into between the Government, the Crown Agents and the Overseas Development Administration.

The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Chalker of Wallasey)

We have received the report of Coopers & Lybrand Management Consultants on options for the future status of the Crown Agents. We have no plans to publish it as it contains commercially sensitive information on Crown Agents" business activities. The Government is considering the recommendations of the report in full consultation with the Crown Agents.
