§ Mr. NelsonI understand that the Bank of England has now responded to the second report of the Treasury and Civil Service Committee in Session 1991–92, "Banking Supervision and BCCI: The Role of Local Authorities and Money Brokers". A copy of this response has been placed in the Library, together with the revised edition of the London code of conduct for principals and broking firms in the wholesale markets, which was issued by the bank on 29 May.
