§ The Minister of State, Department of Education (Baroness Blatch)Under Section 59 of the Education Act 1944 any local education authority which considers that a pupil is being employed in a manner which prevents the pupil from obtaining full benefit from his or her education may take action to prohibit or restrict that employment.
