HC Deb 06 November 1991 vol 198 c180W
Mr. Alton

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what impact the proposed new women's hospital in Liverpool will have on services for women; how much of the expenditure earmarked for the hospital will be used for security and road alterations; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Dorrell

Obstetric and gynaecology services are presently scattered across the city and will be provided on a single site in modern, well-equipped accommodation. The balance of expenditure on new facilities and infrastructure such as security and road alterations is a matter for Liverpool health authority.
