If the Council on Tribunals will publish draft model rules of procedure for administrative tribunals in the United Kingdom.
§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Mackay of Clashfern):The Lord Advocate and I today received copies of a special report to Parliament by the Council on Tribunals on draft model rules of procedure for administrative tribunals. It offers much helpful and practical advice to policy-makers and those responsible for drafting tribunal procedural rules which will be of great value in future in preparing procedural rules for new tribunals or amending the rules of existing tribunals. I welcome the report and am grateful to the Council on Tribunals for reporting on this matter. The report is available from HMSO (Cm. 1434).
