Whether, following the announcement by the Eritrean People's Liberation Front of the formation of a provisional government in Eritrea at the press conference held in London, they will be the first to recognise the independence of Eritrea.
The Earl of Caithness:The statement by the EPLF did not constitute a declaration of independence. The question of recognition of independence therefore does not arise.
