§ Mr. ChopeThe public inquiry into the western circus improvement scheme at the junction of the A40 trunk road and Old Oak road closed on 16 August 1989. The inspector's report on that inquiry, at which the impact on local residents was discussed, is now being considered. My right hon. Friends the Secretary of State for Transport arid the Secretary of State for the Environment hope Ito announce their decision soon.
