§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have submitted to the Government of India a detailed proposal for a mission to formulate an integrated rural water supply project in southern Orissa, to tackle engineering, health and social issues jointly. The organisations to be involved in the project, which may include those referred to by the hon. Lady, will depend on the mission's findings.
228WWe have confirmed to UNICEF in writing our interest in funding British rigs for certain villages, in a number of Indian states, as part of its next five-year programme. We have discussions with it next week. The need for a training rig programme will depend on UNICEF's response.
