To ask the Secretary of State for Defence whether any personnel from the Defence Export Services Organisation visited Turkey, Chile or South Africa during 1988.

[holding answer 9 February 1989]Representatives of DESO travel extensively and visited numerous countries during 1988. Because of the confidentiality of many of the matters involved it is not the practice to list individual countries which have been visited.
