§ Mr. Viggers[holding answer 21 July 1988]: A number of organisations and individuals have made representations regarding the withdrawal of ACE funding to community groups, and full consideration has been given to the individual circumstances of each case. I remain satisfied that the present arrangements ensure that ACE funding goes to those bodies that are in the best position to provide services for disadvantaged groups.
