§ Mr. StanleyThe annual running cost of 5 Airborne Brigade is some £80 million at current prices. This figure includes the brigade's personnel costs, as well as such items as spares, maintenance, direct support and the extra costs of airlift for parachute training. It excludes, inter alia, the capital costs of equipment and accommodation.
