§ Mr. MellorThree prisoners were transferred from England and Wales to Nothern Ireland in 1986; two of these transfers were made under section 26 of the Criminal Justice Act 1961 (permanent transfer) and one under section 27 (temporary transfer). Two prisoners were transferred under section 27 from Northern Ireland to England and Wales.
