§ Mr. Donald Stewartasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how much cod, haddock, saithe and whiting was caught and landed by vessels which are no longer active in the fleet by virtue of their having been decommissioned since the decommissioning scheme was introduced.
§ Mr. Gummer[pursuant to his reply, 28 October 1986, c. 85.]: Over 200 vessels have been decommissioned since the scheme was introduced. Details of the total catches by those vessels of the species listed are not readily available and cannot be obtained from the records held by MAFF and DAFS except at disproportionate cost.
