§ Mr. Soleyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he intends to make a decision on the granting of asylum for (a) Mr. Mohammed Hussein Abi (HO Ref.: M5 16237) and (b) Mr. Mohammed Saeed Ahmed (HO Ref.: M5 16400); and for how long these cases have been outstanding.
§ Mr. WaddingtonI wrote to the hon. Member yesterday giving my decisions. The applications for asylum were made in December 1984 and January 1985 respectively. I regret the delay in these cases.
