§ The Prime MinisterA number of Libyan armed forces personnel underwent training at defence establishments in the United Kingdom in 1983 and up to the end of April 1984. Immediately following the incident at the Libyan People's Bureau, in which WPC Fletcher was killed, all Libyan personnel on courses at defence establishments in the United Kingdom were sent home. We have not provided any training since this time.
