§ 22. Dr. Michael Clarkasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what resources are being allocated by the United Kingdom Government's export agencies in 1985–86 in order to promote British exports to China.
§ Mr. ChannonExports to China are supported by my Department, the Export Credits Guarantee Department, diplomatic posts and other agencies such as the Sino British Trade Council. It is not possible to forecast expenditure, much of which is responsive to exporters' demands.
