What arrangements will be made for Portuguese nationals who wish to set up in business or otherwise to exercise the right of establishment or rights relating to the provision or receipt of services in the United Kingdom when Portugal joins the EEC, and from what date they will take effect.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Young)From 1st January 1986, Portuguese nationals who wish to enter another EC member state for the purpose of establishing themselves or rendering a service may do so on the same basis as the nationals of the existing member states.
