What has been the outcome of consultations on the 24th Report of the Law Reform Committee on Latent Damage (Cmnd. 9390).
§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Hailsham of Saint Marylebone)Following publication of the Law Reform Committee's Report, on 29th November 1984, my department received a number of representations from a broad range of interested groups. In the light of the comments received, the Government propose to introduce legislation based on the committee's recommendations as soon as parliamentary time is available.
