§ 39. Mr. Ashdownasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list the number of instances of compoundings on administrative settlements as a result of infringements of the Export (Control) Order relating to the export of high technology electronic items and associated goods since 1978.
§ Mr. HayhoeCustoms and Excise has compounded proceedings for offences arising out of infringements of the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1981 on 99 occasions since 1978. Information is not available about the number of these which relate to high technology electronic items.
