§ Mr. Peter WalkerThe regional officers of the Energy Efficiency Office keep a close watch on activity in their regions. They have reported a surge in activity since the formation of the Energy Efficiency Office, including appointments of energy managers and investment in energy efficiency measures. In the domestic sector there has been a significant increase in inquiries over the last few months, and about 7,500 households have purchased the "Energy Matters" home energy audit pack in the first four months of its launch.
