Whether they have been invited to send observers to the Nicaraguan elections next November, and if so what answer they have made.
§ The Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office (Baroness Young)We have not received an invitation. We are in favour of any moves towards democracy in Central America. We shall consider positively any invitation we may receive to send observers to elections in the region.
