On what date the prisoner whose number is M96702 petitioned the Secretary of State about the loss of his property, which was in the custody of the Prison Department; why no reply had been made after four months; when the Secretary of State now expects to reply; and whether they will comment on the explanation reported to have been given to the prisoner by the assistant governor of Swansea prison, that the delay was caused by the prisoner writing to a Peer.
