§ Mr. Robert C. Brownasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) whether he has any information as to changes in the proportion of (a) local authority gas service work carried in-house, and (b) that part of local authority gas work allocated to British Gas for the last year and in the last five years to the nearest convenient date;
(2) what proportion of local authority gas work is allocated to British Gas;
(3) what proportion of local authority gas service work is carried out in-house.
