§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects the Swansea vehicle licensing liaison group to decide upon the proposals submitted to it relating to the provision of a pilot scheme in Scotland for temporary first licensing facilities through selected post offices, particularly those in the Border area.
§ Mr. David HowellI am at present studying the case for such a pilot scheme and am aware of the views expressed by representatives of the motor trade at the informal liaison group with my Department. I hope to announce my conclusions shortly.
