§ Mr. HurdThe United Kingdom remains in contact with other members of the Security Council. Any further initiative will have to take account in the first place of the wishes of the Lebanese government. We hope that Mr. Habib's mission will result in the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Lebanon in accordance with Security Council resolution 509.
