asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will make a statement about the costs ordered to be paid by the GLC following the recent appeal by them against a judgment concerning London Transport fares as follows:—

(1) total costs to be paid;

(2) a breakdown of the total showing who is to receive the largest amount;

(3) the names of any barristers and solicitors involved and the amount received by each.
