HC Deb 17 November 1981 vol 13 c89W
Mr. Ray Powell

asked the Secretary of State for Wales whether he will give further consideration to the recommendations in the first report of the Select Committee on Welsh Affairs of Session 1980–81, HC 731—I.

Mr. Nicholas Edwards

The report was welcome by the Government as a contribution to informed and constructive debate of the problems and questions facing the Principality. It remains so. Its recommendations overall are kept under review while those accepted or endorsed in the Government's response in December 1980 have been acted on or monitored.
